Life walked slowly, grace and hallowed beauty in every step. Her flawless and unblemished complexion perfectly complemented her white, silken robes giving her a regal yet benevolent look. The pale radiance emanating from every pore of her pristine being echoed thousands of years of splendour, and with each of her composed movements, the ground beneath her feet squirmed with unabashed joy.
Death walked with a brisk pace, unerring and firm. His face was hidden behind a dark black beard, and his long jet black hair waved desolately in the wind. Having dressed in sable, his face had an inscrutable iciness about it which gave him a menacing air, and he seemed to suck all the brightness around him effortlessly. With each step he took, the ground beneath trembled with fear and apprehension.
How perfect Life and Death were for each other, a match truly made in Heaven! (or Hell, if you wish).
When they finally reached each other, gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes, the sun quietly set in the distant horizon as the eternal lovers embraced tenderly.
Alas, a soul had perished somewhere.
